Introducing the Community Support Centre of Essex County Team!
Together We Can Accomplish So Much!
The Community Support Centre is a non-profit organization that has provided generous services all around Essex County. Established in 1983, the Community Support Centre has consistently been evaluating the needs of our Lakeshore community as well as the county.
Even during this pandemic, they have found safe ways to provide their much needed services of Meals on Wheels, Food Security, Transportation, and Security Reassurance. This organization has been a life-long staple to the community.
Our very own Deputy Mayor of Lakeshore, Tracey Bailey, is also the Executive Director of this organization. The Community Support Centre is located at 962 Old Tecumseh Road in Puce, off of the round-about in the plaza next to the Puce Harbor.
The Community Support Center has also found very creative ways to adapt their in-person activities to online events. They have been hosting Zoom activities such as Tenacious Tuesdays, Wellness Wednesdays, Bingo Thursdays, and Fitness Fridays!
The Community Support Centre is always looking for volunteers to assist with certain tasks in the community. If you are interested, you can contact them through their website communitysupportcentre.ca
Thank you so much for all the great things that the Community Support Centre does for our community!
