We would like to introduce you to Sam Fallon, owner and operator of Sam’s Pampered Pets!

Sam knows how precious the family pet is to everyone in the household and he and his staff would like to help you pamper your pet! They take pride in treating you and your pets with kindness and respect.

Over the years Sam has realized the importance of diversifying in order to stay in business in a competitive market, competing with large corporate franchises and online sellers. Sam’s Pampered Pets is a very unique shop unlike any other pet store you will encounter. One of the main attractions is the display aquariums that can also be viewed from outside once the sun sets. It’s hard to walk by the shop in the late evening and not stop to enjoy the view.

Sam’s Pampered Pets is a family-owned full line pet shop, grooming salon, pro fishing store and professional pond and water feature installer. Sam's has been in business since 2006 and is located at 616 Notre Dame St in Belle River, right at the traffic lights in town! Due to the current Covid situation, as with other stores, Sam is only able to safely offer you curbside service for products that you need.

Sam’s Pampered Pets was started because of the family’s love for animals. Taking care of animals and helping others to take care of their animals is what Sam does best. Meet Angel, Ruby, Luna and Crush the family pets that can be found at the store and are always ready for some attention.

Although, Sam’s Pampered Pets still houses a large selection off tropical fish, they no longer carry pets for sale in the shop. But they do regularly place special orders for pets such as bunnies, birds and reptiles from their various suppliers.

Furry friends, reptiles or fish - they stock everything you need to take care of your pets. They have a beautiful greenhouse that is home to their large selection of Koi Fish and pond plants. Sam’s is a large supplier of all needs for your pond, from building to maintaining.

Since Sam started Sam’s Aquascaping last year (as a certified aquascaping contractor) it has been a huge success. He has built and installed such water features as: fish ponds, pondless waterfalls, bubbling rocks and even a swimming pond.

Sam’s Pampered Pets also has a grooming salon in the pet store run by Tyler Tucker and Denise Merritt, both of whom graduated from “Pets Beautiful School of Styling.” They take pride in pampering of all your furry companions. Their services range from nail trims, baths, desheds, to full grooms of any style.

Al Dean manages the fishing department at Sam’s and is continually expanding the selection to meet the needs of our local fisherman. You can find everything you need or want in one stop. They carry popular brands from Z-Man to St. Croix, Rapala, Striker and so much more.

Sam’s Pampered Pets continues to be a strong supporter of our community through sponsorship of minor sports teams, service organizations, charities as well as community events such as “Sunsplash” and “Stroll the Street.”

The shop is open Monday to Friday 10am to 6pm, Saturday 10am to 4pm and Sunday 10am to 3pm for your convenience at their large, wheelchair-accessible location in the heart of Belle River.
