Friday in November, Every Year. Located in the Optimists Park, lit by
an amazing arrangement of Christmas Lights throughout the park

Celebrate French Canadian culture at our first annual street fun fair.
We will close Notre Dame each day, so that on the street, there will be
contests (nail pounding, sawing, dog sleds etc), carnival games, food,
music and dancing, and food. Bilingual performers from Paincourt and
Pointe aux Roches will perform under the tent!
Presented by local high school students
Enjoy a French concert series in the streets of Belle Riviere. A
variety of local musicians flaunt their talent, heritage and French
culture. Enjoy a wonderful French themed authentic dinner, dance, or
show.
French Movie Night
Experience French cinema with the classic comedy "Alexandre le
Bienheureux", starring Philippe Noiret. Suitable for all ages. Entry by
donation.

Discover and dance to the original ye-ye, go go and jazzy-swing French
hits from the 50's, 60's, 70's, and of course, some latest hits! Visit
the Royal Canadian Legion Dance Hall and Party with DJ Matt Trudelle
from the Music Zone, 8 pm - 1 am
Bonjour, Belle Riviere!
"A Little Bit of French Next Door" Exhibit. See a collection of
surprising and interesting French Canadian and French artifacts. Some
dating back as far as 1777! Visit the Museum's Salon. Fri-Sun 1-4pm
French History and Culture
Past. Present and Contemporary. A little bit of French for everybody!
A French Mass celebrated at 10:30am with the French Choir followed by a huge pancake breakfast!
French Language Incorporations /Translation
Students meeting and greeting at each business in French, French
translations of words in a program of events, expression cards such as
�How much does it cost?� in both languages and with the proper
pronunciation.
Attracting People into our town and onto the streets
Provide well identified meeting spots in town with themed flags and
painted posts, have activities areas for the children to get involved
and to provide limited supervision if needed
Passports
At each visit to a designated shop customers can accumulate a certain
amount of stamps with purchase to get free food/ prizes/ access to a
venue etc.
