Belle River- On the Lake BIA Invitation to Sunsplash 2011

The Belle River-On the Lake BIA and the Town of Lakeshore Youth Council (TLYC) would like to invite you to beautiful Belle River to participate in our amazing 16th Annual Sunsplash Home Hardware Parade on Friday July 15th to Sunday July 17th, 2011.

This exciting weekend starts off with our 10th Annual Sunsplash Classic Car Cruise with over 600 hundred classic cars on Friday and a Road Tour Saturday afternoon. The Optimist Park will be home to the Carter Shows Carnival and a variety of vendors and family entertainment. The Lakeview Park will feature the K of C Refreshment Tent along with the Lions Club Food Booth at the Belle River Marina along with great vendors and live entertainment at the Performance Pavilion.

The Belle River-On the Lake BIA encourages you to join in with our community and spend a fun weekend with family and friends. We have planned a huge variety of fantastic FREE music and entertainment including the International Watercross Races, a Firefighter’s Water Barrel Competition and SOLTRA Lawnmower Races on Sunday. Another way in which you can join in is to decorate you bikes, trikes, scooters, golf carts and four wheelers in a nautical theme for this years Sunsplash! 

The TLYC is responsible for organizing and executing the timely line up of all registered parade applicants to be sure that the parade begins promptly at 10am on Saturday, July 16th. Please check in with the TLYC upon your arrival at 9:30am at the Belle River Public School, 370 St. Peter Street. The parade route follows Notre Dame to South Street, where we will head north to the Lakeview Park for the opening ceremonies!
