Belle River-On the Lake BIA Invitation to Attend Sunsplash

The Belle River-On the Lake Business Improvement Area would like to extend to you an invitation to attend the 17th Annual Sunsplash Festival as a vendor on July 20-22, 2012.

 This exciting family fun weekend starts off on Friday when we close down the main street in Belle River for hundreds of cool cars to be on display during the 11th Annual Sunsplash Classic Car Cruise Night. The fantastic Carter Shows Carnival for the children will be at the Lakeview Park. On Saturday morning the Sunsplash Parade will kick off at 10 am sharp from the Belle River Public School. The Knights of Columbus will be hosting a refreshment tent with great entertainment and ice cold drinks at Lakeview Park. A tremendous variety of vendors will be displaying their arts, crafts, specialty services and products and serving up fine foods to the crowds at the Lakeview Park.

The Belle River-On the Lake BIA has planned exciting events and live entertainment throughout the entire weekend for all to enjoy. Major renovations have been completed at the Lakeview Park adding new washrooms at the West Beach and a Performance Pavilion and amphitheatre setting up a great viewing spot for spectacular entertainment. Sunsplash will feature events throughout town including the Lakeview Park, West Belle River Beach, Notre Dame Street and the Belle River High School North Field. Events planned include a Water Barrel Competition between firefighters, a 5K Run, and a children’s Fishing Derby. The exciting Canadian Association Watercross National Race event is back for the weekend at the West Beach along with an exciting new “Extreme Beach Volleyball Tournament.”
