Our Belle River BIA 17th Annual Sunsplash Festival takes place this year from Friday July 20 to Sunday July 22 in beautiful Belle River  - On the Lake. Friday night starts off with our 11th Annual Sunsplash Classic Car Cruise with over 600 classic cars on display on Notre Dame from the Belle River Bridge all the way to Eleventh Street. Lakeview Park will be the sweet spot to be for the weekend of wild rides and excitement with the Carter Shows Carnival www.cartershows.ca.  There will be live entertainment  and a variety of vendors located throughout the park.

 The Belle River Lions Club will be cooking up a storm that weeked with pancakes and sausage breakfasts and hamburgs, hotdogs, sausage and fries until 1am each night!  The K of C Refreshment tent will be open at the marina on Friday and Saturday night with their annual house band.  The big tent will be a great place to be on Sunday to see all the action on the water and check out the people on the beach for the Volleyball Beach Tournament.

The newly constructed performance pavillon at Lakeview Park, with the Lake St. Clair as the perfect backdrop, will host a variety of talented musicians.   There will be a large selection  of vendors at the Lakeview Park. 

The Sunsplash Home Hardware Parade starts promptly at 10am on Notre Dame Street along with our Sunsplash 5K Run. The new Classic Cruise Road Tour  cruises around Lakeshore between 1 and 2 pm on Saturday afternoon.

Bright and early on Sunday morning come out to the Lakeview Park Pier for the annual Kids Fishing Derby organized for kids 14 and under by Muskies Canada. Watch the local Firefighters Waterbarrel Competition!. The SOLTRA Lawnmower Races www.soltra.ca will be held at the Belle River High School on Sunday afternoon.

There will be lots and lots of exciting things to do in Belle River - On the Lake that weekend so mark your calenders and plan on getting in on the action.  For a close up view of Belle River visit >
